"I worked in Callaway in the state of Minnesota, near the border with Canada, at Maplelag Resort and Conference Center. Unregrettable, impossible, free accommodation, ate all I wanted, and those 2 points meant significant savings for my wallet, making other dreams of visiting other cities come true. I also realized that each place offers unique natural environments, unique and kind people, and a frozen lake where I took a plunge at every opportunity, either with the owners or with the customers, of course, after spending 15 minutes in the sauna. I even submerged for up to 15 seconds in frozen waters. All of this with -20 degrees on the surface, and not everyone does it. On the other hand, I dedicated myself to skiing in my free time—I was good! On the steep slopes, impossible to be afraid; speed was my thing. My mission before graduating was to take this trip with the idea of refining my English skills, as that would be my great tool in the professional aspect. Three months have already passed, and I've gained a great life experience. You might wonder, 'How was the pay?' Well, I was paid a little more than estimated for good work and availability. Of course, a significant part went to traveling on the Amtrak and shopping at the outlets. The saying 'what's lived and danced can't be taken away' is very true. Minneapolis, Chicago (Willis Tower), New York (Empire State, Brooklyn Bridge, The Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, Broadway, among others) received me in an amazing way. So, if you identify with this and want to live a similar experience, I invite you to take the first step, and XPA will help you with the rest."
