Features
The Work & Travel France program allows you to work during your vacation, immersing yourself in French culture through a visa with a work permit. At the end of the program, you must return to your home country.

Registration and Process Duration
Registration is open all year round. Once the visa is obtained (which depends on the opening dates of available spots per country), the job search process begins. You should factor in the time required for visa processing plus approximately two weeks to two months to secure a job position. In total, you need at least four months to complete all the steps before traveling.

Annual visa quotas are limited per country, so it is recommended to apply as soon as you decide. Once you register, we will notify you when the French government opens the visa application slots.

Program Duration
The visa allows you to stay legally and work during your vacation, and you can extend your stay up to the visa’s expiration date if you wish.

Requirements

  • Be a Canadian citizen with a valid passport and be between 18 and 30 years old.
  • Have financial solvency of at least EUR €2,500 + EUR €1,000 if you do not have a return ticket.

  • Provide proof of a flight reservation or at least a one-way ticket to France.
