Features
With the Working Holiday Brazil program, you have the opportunity to work in Brazil for the period of time granted by your visa. Upon completion, you must return to your home country or you can extend your stay if you wish.
Additionally, through this visa, you can study within the timeframe granted by the visa, for up to 4 months, and/or you can access Brazil's educational system if it's your preference.
This program allows you to enter and exit Brazil as many times as you want within the visa period.
Requirements
- To apply for the visa, you must be a canadian citizen between 18 and 40 years old at the time of application.
- Having a good level of Portuguese is not mandatory, but it is recommended.
- You should have a level of maturity that allows you to live far from home, manage money, and be capable of solving your own problems.
Registration and Application Process Duration
You can register throughout the year. The time needed depends on the following points:
- Gathering the necessary documentation to apply for the visa.
- Confirmation period for the visa once all documentation is submitted.
- Annual visa quotas are limited, so it's suggested to start the application process as soon as you've decided.
Program Duration
Obtaining the visa allows you to be legally and with work permission in Brazil for the duration of the visa, but it doesn't mean you can't return to your home country earlier if you wish.
You can apply through one of these program options:

Everything has been wonderful. I work in my field, which is Industrial Mechanics. Besides, I was able to bring my wife and my 4-year-old daughter to live this experience.
