"Hello, my name is Verónica Retamal, and I arrived in the United States thanks to the support of XPA in the state of Florida. There, I lived with around 80 people from all over. From the beginning, we formed like a big family and a circle of friendship that I still cherish today. The work is always tough, especially if one's goal is to save money. To achieve this, I had two jobs. When the workday ended, coming home and reuniting with friends was the best. I visited many incredible places (including Disney, Universal Studios, Miami, Tampa), partied as much as possible, and still managed to save enough money to finance the loan with which I traveled and many other things. If I could recommend this experience to someone, I would say yes, definitely. I believe it is an opportunity that everyone should live, to grow, to experience another reality, and above all, to appreciate what one has and who one is. Working in a country of immigrants makes you truly value your education and your possibilities for a better future. Personally, I recommend XPA as they treated me excellently, as well as my sponsor, Spirit, as both were 100% concerned and attentive to any problem or doubt we had."
