Description:
Bartender’s play a key role in the delivering a personalized experience for each guest by
creating something special and unique just for them. Your role as a Bartender is to
provide exceptional service and work as part of a team to deliver an unforgettable guest
experience.
Job Duties:
- Offer professional, friendly and engaging service personalized to cater to every
type of guest.
- Take beverage orders directly from guests and servers.
- Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
for food and beverage servers.
- Thorough knowledge and presentation of daily specials, food and drink options
and general information, ability to suggest and recommend items to the guest.
- Delivering prompt but appropriate flow of service.
- Ensuring that all products are stocked and the bar is kept clean.
- Knowledge of POS system and processing of guest payments.
- Follow the restaurant’s policies and procedures, adhere to the grooming policies
of the resort.
- Other duties as required
Required Experience.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in high volume fast paced bar or restaurant is required.
- One year minimum bartending experience.
- Experience with POS and/or Micros systems.
- Successful completion of the Provincial Certification Alcohol Service Certificate
prior to start date (BC – Serving It Right, AB - ProServe).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills, positive team player.
Required Experience:
