Work Schedule: Hours are usually 8:00 or 9:00am – 4:00 or 5:00pm, and can fluctuate
seasonally

Description:

As a leader in Housekeeping you will positively lead the Housekeeping department with
energy and enthusiasm. Your role will be to provide exceptional service and work as part
of a team to achieve great success and deliver lasting memories to the guest.

Job Duties:

• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service.

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure

  service standards are followed.

• Handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas.

• Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings.

• Ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section.

• Follow departmental policies and procedures.

• Report necessary maintenance items.

• Coaching colleagues.

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.

• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.

• Other duties as required.

Required Experience:

• Previous housekeeping experience is required, leadership experience is

  preferred.

• Ability to work in stressful, high-pressure situations.

• Proven training skills and ability to convey clear instructions/informatio.

• Experience with a Hotel Property Management System is an asset.

• Strong decision-making, organizational and communication skills.

• Strong leadership skills, positive team player.
