Deliveroo is a digital delivery platform connecting customers with restaurants, supermarkets and local businesses. Area Description — Dublin, Ireland
Dublin is well suited to bicycle and e-bike deliveries because many restaurants, residential areas, universities and offices are concentrated around the city centre. Popular commercial areas include Temple Bar, Dublin Docklands, Smithfield, Rathmines, Ballsbridge and the districts surrounding Trinity College.
Participants can explore attractions such as Dublin Castle, St. Stephen’s Green, the River Liffey, the Guinness Storehouse and EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. Coastal communities including Howth, Malahide and Dún Laoghaire are also accessible by public transportation. www.visitdublin.com
Riders should be prepared for rain, wind, busy traffic and bicycle-theft risk. A quality lock, reflective clothing, helmet, lights and secure storage are essential. Evening and weekend periods may offer greater demand, but riders should select safe routes and remain alert when working after dark.
